Accessibility Information
How are services offered?Services are offered online via Zoom or by phone. You may have your camera off if you’re more comfortable this way.
How do I book an appointment? You can book an appointment online through the ‘book appointment’ button at the top right of the desktop version of this website or by clicking the two lines on the top right in the mobile version and going down to the button that says ‘book appointment’. If you’d prefer me to book in a time, you may also call or text me or send me an email.
I have questions about the service but am worried about doing an introductory call. That’s totally understandable! It can be intimidating talking to someone for the first time. Feel free to send me a text or email with your questions and I’ll do my best to respond.
I had an appointment booked but I've got a lot on my plate at the moment. You can cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours notice if you need to. If you’d like to change to a shorter appointment, that’s okay too, just let me know. I’m also always up for a body-doubling session if that’s something you’d find supportive.
I've had a previous bad experience with services, how do I know that won't happen again?Firstly, I’m really sorry that you’ve had bad experiences in the past. I can’t guarantee that I’ll be the right fit for you, but I can assure you that I will do my best to work with you in a way that you actually find helpful. You are always welcome to provide me with feedback and I am always willing to adapt my approach to meet your needs.
Can I do a shorter or longer appointment?I absolutely recognise that sometimes it’s hard to sit through a 50 minute appointment, and at other times a 50 minute appointment doesn’t feel like it will be long enough. There are also options for 30 minute appointments and 80 minute appointments as well.
What do I do if I don't like something we're doing in session or it's not working for me?Please tell me! I know it’s super hard sometimes to speak up, but I don’t ever want you to be wasting your precious resources on something that doesn’t vibe with you or doesn’t actually support you in any way. If you’re finding it hard to say something in session, you’re always welcome to send me a text or email after the session too.
I'm worried about having to tell my story again. That’s really valid. It’s hard retelling the most difficult parts of your life multiple times to multiple different people. You never have to share more than you are comfortable sharing with me and we can go at your pace.
Can I contact you by phone or email between appointments?I can’t operate as a crisis service - I’m just one person, and it might take me up to two business days to get back to you at times, but absolutely, yes, you can contact between appointments. If something has come up that you want to touch on next session, you want to provide feedback, or you just want to provide me with an update. That’s totally fine. I just ask that you don’t expect an urgent response, and you draw on other supports in an urgent situation.
